New Zealand – Auckland area

New Zealand Auckland area

New Zealand trip in April in an attempt to get away from a few challenges for a while and clear the head.

Auckland many think is the capital of New Zealand, it’s not. Wellington is. Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand though. It has a population of about 1.5 million and an population density of 2,600/km2 (6,700/sq mi).

Auckland is located on the north island of New Zealand about one third of the way down from the northern tip. The cost of living in Auckland is quite high in comparison to other cities I’ve been to.
