Thursday 9 Oct 2014 – Red Moon – Tungkillo, SA
A red moon occurs when the moon is full and the earth moves between the moon and the sun blocking the sun light from hitting the moon. We saw this happen at the lookout at Tungkillo in South Australia which is about an hours drive east just at the edge of the Adelaide Hills overlooking the Murray river land near Mannum.
